Why Does This Matter So Much?
Shri Devraha Baba taught that helping those who suffer has a deeper and more immediate effect on the heart and destiny than many other spiritual practices — including the reading of scriptures and the repetition of mantras.
When we feed the hungry, care for the needy or serve cows, a special energy of peace, love and harmony is born within us. It is such deeds that help a person draw closer to God — not only through prayer, but through compassion.
Even years of praying do not bring such benefit as feeding the hungry and comforting the tears of the one who cries.

Forms of seva such as feeding people, caring for cows and helping the needy are considered pure karmic acts. Some perform them selflessly; others dedicate them to Guruji or to God, praying for health, the protection of their family, success and spiritual growth. When karma is purified, new possibilities open up in life.

How a Bhandara Works
1. You choose a format
A free donation to the shared pool, or organising a whole bhandara. You choose whom to feed on your behalf.
2. We gather and confirm
For the shared pool we gather until a bhandara is fully funded. For a whole bhandara we agree on the date (no sooner than three days ahead).
3. The Ashram invites the guests
We invite the guests and prepare delicious festive prasad for them.
4. Sankalpa in your name
Before the meal we perform the sankalpa and an offering to Baba on your behalf — your name is spoken aloud.
5. Feeding the guests
We feed the guests festive prasad and give each of them a small donation.
6. A report on the site
We publish a photo report with the date and the list of sankalpa participants. You see that your donation reached its purpose.

What is a bhandara?
A bhandara is a charitable feeding — of saints and brahmins, children, women and widows, all the Ashram's guests or the sacred cows. The Ashram arranges the feeding on your behalf and, before it, recites the sankalpa in your name.
Where does my money go?
All funds go towards buying food, preparing festive prasad, inviting the guests and a small donation for each of them. Afterwards the Ashram publishes a photo report with the date and the list of sankalpa participants.
How does a free donation differ from organising a whole bhandara?
A free donation is any amount from ₹1000 into a shared pool; once enough is gathered, the Ashram holds the bhandara. Organising a whole one means you take a bhandara for 50 or more people and choose the date yourself.
What is the sankalpa?
The sankalpa is the solemn pronouncing of your name and intention before the meal, together with an offering to Baba. In this way the service is dedicated on your behalf.
Can I choose the date?
For a whole bhandara, yes — at the ordering step (no sooner than three days ahead). For the shared pool, the Ashram sets the date once enough has been gathered.
Will I receive confirmation and a report?
Yes. After the bhandara the Ashram publishes a photo report on the site, and your name is included in the list of sankalpa participants.
Which currencies can I donate in?
In rubles, rupees, US dollars, euros or USDT. The donation amount is shown in rupees at the current exchange rate.
